Nicholas Costa
Nicholas is a versatile professional drummer with over a decade of experience in musical theatre, studio recording, and live performance. He's toured and recorded with artists like Graeham Goble and performed in many professional musical theatre shows. Nicholas teaches drums by fostering a fun, supportive environment for students to build technical skills and find their musical voice. He's currently studying Music and Arts at Monash University.
Nicholas has been playing drums for over a decade and has developed into a versatile professional musician with experience across musical theatre, studio recording, and live performance. He has recorded for and toured with artists such as Graeham Goble (Little River Band), Gypsy Lee (supporting Mahalia Barnes and Kate Ceberano on the Australian Made Tour), and Dorian West (Tina Arena). He has also performed for many of Melbourne’s most prominent independent theatre companies, playing as part of the orchestra in countless professional musical theatre shows, including the 2025 Australian production of Avenue Q at the National Theatre.
Nicholas’s approach to teaching is to create a fun and supportive learning environment where students can build strong technical foundations and develop their own musical voice.
He is currently studying for a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University.
