Jerry Graduated of Bachelor of music in University of Melbourne, major in Piano performance/Teaching. He is a competent Sight-reader in classical and Jazz/pop Lead sheets. Professional and easy going, passionate and caring to students and parent’s needs.

Jerry has over a decade of teaching experience. He conducts AMEB and VCE exams both in practical and theory, with various age groups. Jerry’s teachings are very thorough and observant. The focus of students is the 4 foundations/fundamentals: reading/comprehension, rhythm, technique and listening. Jerry believes a solid foundation allows student confidence and enjoyment, therefore fostering self-awareness and critical thinking. Jerry also tailors his lessons and fun exercises (clapping, singing) to emphasise foundations akin to the Kodaly method.
