Conor Bruce
Conor is a Melbourne-based jazz drummer and educator with 13+ years of experience. Currently finishing his Bachelor of Music at the Conservatorium, he has performed globally at events like the Singapore F1. He offers tailored, supportive lessons focused on technique and groove.
Conor is a jazz drummer with a strong passion for both performing and teaching. He had the opportunity to perform internationally and locally within Melbourne’s (NAARM) jazz scene, including festivals and events such as the Australian High Commission, Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Formula 1.
Conor has been playing drums for over thirteen years and has trained under respected mentors Danny Fischer and Daniel Farrugia. Alongside his performance work, he enjoys helping students build solid technique, musical confidence, and their own creative voice on the instrument.
Conor is currently completing a Bachelor of Music (Jazz and Improvisation) at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium. His teaching approach is supportive, flexible, and tailored to each student’s goals; whether they’re just starting out, preparing for exams, or wanting to develop their improvisation, groove, and ensemble skills.
