About Alla's Music Studio

Alla's Music Studio is a first-class Melbourne music school that offers tuition in a wide variety of musical instruments for students of all ages, starting from beginner level to advanced.

The school opened its doors for the first time at the beginning of 2012. Over the years, Alla's Music Studio has grown to accommodate a large ever-growing number of students.

Alla's Music Studio now has 10 teaching rooms featuring acoustic pianos, keyboards, drum sets, and guitars. Alla's Music Studio focuses on delivering high quality musical education to all students, as well as offering the sale and hire of music instruments and books for enrolled students.

Adelyne, a classical music enthusiast since age 5, excels in ABRSM and Dutch-based music curricula. A decorated pianist, she recently won the 3rd Bangkok International Piano Competition. Emphasizing character and detail in music, she aims to cultivate each student's unique approach, rekindling their passion as her teacher did for her.

Alex was born in a very musical city Odessa. He started to learn music at the age of 5, being inspired by his father, who was a talented musician and his first music teacher. Alex began learning Clarinet at the age of 9 in a special military music school in Moscow. He continued his music education at the Moscow Conservatory.

Angela has played both cello and trumpet since childhood. She has taught music to students of all ages and abilities and began her teaching journey at the age of 17. Her teaching style is flexible, depending heavily on how each student best learns, and she takes great care in tailoring lesson plans to each individual student.

Brenny first began his musical education, learning piano and cello at the age of 5. He was later awarded the Patrick Loftus Hills Music Scholarship at Xavier College, where he completed his AMusA Diploma on cello under the guidance of Rohan De Korte from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Our Creator and Founder

Alla GubermanThe Creator and Founder of the studio is Alla Guberman. Alla is an accomplished performer and music teacher, having obtained her Bachelor of Music with Honours and Master of Music (piano performance) from Monash University, Melbourne. Alla is fully accredited member of VMTA.

Alla was born in Russia. At the age of 9 she discovered her passion for music and started piano lessons. Alla continued to follow her love for the piano and in 1986 she completed her Diploma at the College of Music in Russia.

Alla migrated to Australia in 1992, and in 1999 she furthered her piano studies at Monash University in Melbourne. Under the guidance of Tamara Smolyar (a continuer of traditional Russian piano school) and the team of pianists - Max Cooke, Robert Chamberlain and Darryl Coote (continuers of French piano school), she completed her Bachelor of Music with Honours in 2002. Alla's exceptional performance and demonstrated skill saw her awarded with the 2002 Joan Earle Prize for excellence in Piano Studies at Honours level.

In 2005 Alla graduated with a Masters in Music (piano performance) from Monash University. She was awarded a High Distinction for Piano Performance as part of her Master's degree. Today Alla continues to live and work in Melbourne, teaching from her music studio and sharing her love of music with a broad demographic of students. Alla's performances are collected on CD which you can purchase from the Studio.
